YES, MY MAIDEN NAME IS SHELDON! IT'S THE PART OF ME WHICH IS BRITISH. MY SHELDON ANCESTOR, JOHN SHELDON, WAS BORN IN ENGLAND IN 1630 AND IMMIGRATED TO NORTH AMERICA, TO PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND. HE DIED IN PAUTUXET, RHODE ISLAND ON SEPTEMBER 27th, 1708. (Thanks, Dad, for this information!)
